The Orbs began as an interactive art experience where viewers rearranged painted disks into ever-changing compositions. That exploration has since evolved into Painted Motion, where painted forms slowly unfold through motion, transparency, shifting color, and layered light.
Through layered patterns and painted forms, Tamara explores relationships between color, shape, and transformation. What began as an interactive experience with painted disks continues through Painted Motion, extending the same visual language through time, movement, and quiet visual change.
Each piece is composed of multiple custom-painted disks that are dimensional and movable.
The artist arranges the disks in a geometric pattern—their “home” position. Viewers continue the creative process by rearranging the disks, discovering new relationships, compositions, and moments of visual surprise. Every arrangement becomes a unique expression of the work.
